Please note that Alicia is no longer with Cornerstone as she has went back to school to pursue her masters. Rachael M. has stepped into the role of Stewart and we ask you to approach her when needed for Stewart advice.  Rachael is quite knowledgeable as she has served in many union roles in the past few years.

Please be aware that Terri Lynn has stepped into the Health and Safety role for Local B. We ask that if you have any health and safety concerns please direct them to TL or India.

The union would like to thank Megan for her service as  Heath and Safety rep for  Local A. Your hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed and we appreciate everything you have done.  If you have any health and safety concerns, we ask that you direct them to Shannon for the time being.

Just a heads up that the next  membership meeting is scheduled for September 22nd from 5-7 at Booth Street in the board room. We ask that if you have anything you would like to add to the agenda, please let your union reps know. We ask that if you have any submissions, to have them in by September 13th. Local 5381:

Would like to wish all its members a happy holiday and only good things to come in the New Year.   After the membership meeting on Monday November 30^th at 314 Booth Street in the multi-purpose room, we invite all members to join us for a Holiday gathering which will be catered by Lone Star Texas Grill. Please let the Secretary of the union know if you can attend this event no later than November 25^th. We hope to see you all there to share in the good times!  The membership meeting will start at 5:00pm and the gathering will start promptly after the meeting until 8:00pm.

Just a reminder to Stewards– If you have yet to contact Secretary treasure Genevieve Veryard  regarding steward training registration and payment, please so now. If you do not confirm with Genevieve, you will not be attending training. The cut off date is Nov. 9th.

We are currently seeking a Health and Safety Rep for Supportive Housing. We are hoping to get someone who works primarily at the Booth Street location. If you are interested in this role, please let the recording Secretary know and come to the next membership meeting. Rebekah North is no longer serving as the Health and Safety rep at Booth street. We thank Rebekah for her time and all the hard work she accomplished in the Health and Safety role. Please be aware that because the Health and Safety role is vacant our President Ashley Jordan will be your temporally go to person at Booth Street.

There has been some interest in having a Social Gathering in the near future and Elissa has been kind enough to look into some ideas for this. If you would like to share your ideas or suggestions of what you believe would be a nice event for Local 5381, please forward them to the Recording Secretary and she will pass them off to Elissa. At the next membership meeting we will be discussing this further and encourage you to come out and join us.
